Fantastic food, Fantastic service from efficient friendly staff. We go back once a month fir the breakfast. Amazing cafe.
I’m not local and Sand Lane Road was blocked so I took a 20minute diversion to get here. Totally worth it. Staff are so friendly and it’s perfect for a coffee. It’s decent coffee too, non of this ‘out of a machine’ coffee. It’s the good stuff.
No strawberries left end of season.
Bit unprepared..no strawberries! Should have rang ahead. But we stayed and had the fruit scone with the cream & jam. Absolutely the best scone ever!!! Never mind the strawberries, just come for the freshly baked scones: ) Staff are lovely too. Going to become an annual pilgrimage.
I really like Syston Park Farm Shop and every Halloween and Christmas we get pumpkins and Christmas trees and have done for for over a decade! Today was a special day for my wife and I so we decided to have our breakfast at Syston as a treat to start the day right. Whilst everything started out well, got sat in a nice part of the cafe, and received two really delicious coffees, the remainder of the experience was very poor and fell well below what we were expecting. We ordered pancakes and eggs Benedict. Unfortunately, both were cold and not what we expected for over £9 and dish! Whilst the food was not good value, it could have been saved by another delicious coffee. However, after waiting 45mins we gave up waiting for service and paid and left. It was really unfortunate that the staff were really inattentive and didn't consider checking in or offering more drinks. This may have been excused if the cafe was busy but it wasn't busy and it didn't appear to be understaffed. The morning had all the opportunity of a really good experience, but unfortunately it fell way below what we expected. I think given the price of food that expecting quality and attentive staff is not a big ask. We'll always get pumpkins and Christmas tree from Syston as it is our tradition, but we shall not consider eating here again.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

We loved their pumpkin patch. They have farm shop as well and you can get sourdough bread from them. A lovely place with wide open space.
A Hidden Gem for Families and Food Lovers Alike! We visited this delightful farm shop and café for the first time today and were completely charmed. There’s so much open outdoor space for children to explore—perfect for letting little ones run free in nature. A particular highlight was the beautifully crafted wooden tractor with a slide, which quickly became a favourite for our son. After a peaceful walk around the scenic grounds, we tucked into a delicious breakfast accompanied by a refreshing and healthy smoothie—just what we needed to start the day. The café has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were friendly. The farm shop itself is a treasure trove of local produce and indulgent treats. We were especially impressed by the mouthwatering selection of cakes—it was hard to choose just one! We’re already looking forward to returning in mid-June when the strawberry picking season begins. This place is a perfect mix of countryside charm, family fun, and fantastic food. Highly recommend! Plenty of parking outside too!
