Can I ask about animal welfare? Your practice? The conditions? It's enough that the cows have had their babies ripped away, I would like to know that the cows have a better life since their trauma. They are living creatures and maybe to be treated with respect and kindness? After all they're profit for you. Your bread and butter if you will.
Amazing milk, got the fresh cow milk from the vending machine. It accepts notes and coins, not the card unfortunately. But there is an option to take the cash from the cheese vending machine next to it apparently, so you’ll be fine! Love the beautiful aesthetic cafe next to it, the unit is pretty amazing, they have got glass bottle you can purchase or take the plastic bottle for free. Really nice and well maintained! Nice area to walk around, just 500 metres away is the cow farm, with lots of cows!
I only partook of the milk the surrounding were clean and pleasant with other bits and peices available. There was a cafe next door which looked nice I will be going back the raw milk made delicious yogurt. I hope to start make my claber soon for cheese.
We make a 72 mile round trip to the dairy every few weeks to buy 6 to 8 litres which is absolutely delicious. The last time we were there a chap in the queue remarked “do you get a good mark up on the milk” insinuating that we were reselling it, I held my tongue and said nothing but we won’t be going back because if it happened again I wouldn’t hold back. He probably complains about the church bells ringing on a Sunday and everybody else in the village. We now go to Coston for raw milk which is closer, thanks to him.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Lovely little find. Ice creams are delicious the butterscotch especially! Milk was lovely shame we didn’t live closer so we could use it more regularly.
