Had breakfast here staff very efficient and helpful had eggs Benedict for breakfast very fresh eggs almost as if the chicken laid the eggs in the kitchen 😁

Very overpriced for some very basic food. Nice venue, staff are pleasant but the food and drinks - poor. The menu lacks any imagination, this isn't always bad if executed well. Unfortunately it was very underwhelming. £15.00 for a jacket potato is an eye watering price, even more so when it's as bland and as un-imaginative as this. Jacket wasn't crispy, filling was not soft and buttery, underdone. Toppings barely covered the potato. Equally the Salmon and dill on toast -average. Lots of Philadelphia slapped onto some sourdough and a pretty small quantity of smoked salmon, no dill. The ratio of salmon to cream cheese was very unbalanced (very cheese heavy and barely any salmon). It really was the bare minimum. Its sad to see such lack of imagination, extortionate pricing and no passion for what they are serving. We paid £50 for a lunch where we all left very disappointed. For an ‘artisan’ venue there is absolutely nothing artisan on the menu - commercialised and cheap. It's easy to see why the hospitality industry is struggling when there is such a lack of care or creativity at these huge prices. Everything felt like it was optimised for profit over providing an enjoyable lunch experience. I hope they sharpen up.

Good produce and helpful staff.

Called in today for a snack/ meal. Luckily we got seated & dogs accepted to. From there it was sad to see people turned away as 1 no spaces( but many spaces tables just were not cleared by staff) 2. A heated conversation about how billing for a table of 6 could not be split into two bills- despite they had booked! 3 the absolute worst a disabled gentleman and his wife left at a second door in the rain! Then told not tables! But the just needed clearing still! Goodness sake I feel this establishment could do a lot, lot better and no we won’t be returning ….

Lovely FARMSHOP with meats sand a restaurant serving great food, nice staff.

Nice place but staff in the restaurant are very slow… very nearly walked out.

Great evening. Music very good. Service excellent. Burgers were very good and a great price. Overall a lovely night. Hope there a many more.

We visited the cafe with friends who live locally. From the outside it looked lovely. We had a reservation for breakfast at 9: 30 on a Sunday morning. There was only us and another table sat at this time, within half hour the place was much busier. We waited half hour for our drinks to be bought out, my friends coffee was stone cold so she took it back to the counter to be remade. We sat and watched table after table get served their food whilst we still waited. Eventually my friend went and spoke to female host/supervisor who said our food was coming and we had waited so long because tables of two get served before tables of four, also they were very short staffed and under pressure. Which is absolutely ludicrous, we had order three sausage baps and eggs on toast. Food eventually was served at 10: 30. The food was average. We spoke to a manager after we paid the bill, who apologised and told us he was the new manager and had been placed to “sort things out” Well hopefully it gets sorted soon because it’s a lovely venue and could be nice if they sort out their service.

Lovely place. Staff mostly very nice. Good service. But we felt the fish dish was quite overpriced. Is this worth £26.50? A medium sized piece of Gurnard ( with 3 bones in), 3 cherry tomatoes, a small amount of samphire and 2 leaves of chard(?) One of which was a very tough stalk. I don't think so. Surely some new potatoes could be added. Sauce was apparently delicious though. And the other dish? I can't recall what they named it but it was a sort of bruschetta/ foccaccia with 'macerated' tomatoes. Very nice, but it would have been easier to eat if the tomatoes had been cut up smaller. A whole quarter of an heirloom tomato doesn't balance easily on a piece of foccaccia, however well it has been macerated. Lovely coffee.

Very disappointing breakfast this morning. Service slow. Coffee was good but had finished before breakfast arrived. No checking if everything ok. Non communicative staff. Black pudding burnt poached eggs solid. No asking if you’d like anything else. Won’t be returning for breakfast! Cakes looked lovely though!!

Lovely lunch spot, good caesar salad. Indoor seating and also a large garden area with different sections, seating options and shady areas. Charming shop and deli/butcher section. Delicious strawberries!! Definitely worth the stop!
