I visited Carr Farm some time ago now and have ordered my beef from them ever since. I am so pleased with the service and quality that I am compelled to write this recommendation. When I first visited the farm I was delighted to see for myself, the Belted Galloway cattle grazing on the marshes. This was important to me as I wanted a source of grass fed beef and high animal welfare standards as well as delicious produce. The farm is so easy to find, I simply put the address into Google maps and the directions took me straight there, no problem at all. Highest recommendations for this wonderful farm.
This place is a little piece of heaven. Not only is it a working farm but it’s a haven for wildlife. Not only are the Belted Galloway’s beautiful, the scenery and big skies are stunning. Easy to find nestled in the Norfolk countryside are the two beautifully crafted dog friendly holiday lets with enclosed gardens and plenty of footpaths taking you in every direction. A short drive to some beautiful beaches from bustling sea fronts to secluded hideaways, with the owners a font of local knowledge. I always come away filled with a sense of calm serenity. The grass fed beef is second to none and the only beef I’d eat, knowing where my food is coming from is extremely important to me, and this environment is just perfect. What a wonderful place 💝
We had a lovely holiday at Barn Owls Nook at Carr Farm. It's a beautiful, peaceful location on a working farm in the Norfolk Broads. Delightful cottage with sunny patio and secure garden for our dog. There are lots of walks right on the doorstep and miles of empty beaches within a short drive. There is also a choice of two local pubs nearby and a farm shop with a cafe we could walk to. We loved seeing the farm animals and the hosts were super helpful. We are looking forward to returning next year. We also enjoyed some of the farms belted galloway beef rump steaks whilst we were on holiday and we enjoyed them so much that we took a beef box home with us as well! Lovely place - highly recommended: -)
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Couldn't find anybody this farm is way out west check before you waste your money and travel there.
Hard to find don't waste your time going.
We stayed here for a few days in one of two cottages they have. Barn owl nook. Really nice stay on the farm in a well equipped cottage. Some nice little touches like the pictures in the cottage are of the farm animals. They have Belted Galloway cattle which I hadn't seen before, one was born in the evening as we arrived back one night. Some lovely geese wondering around which was great to watch. The place is dog friendly and the cottage had a great enclosed garden. Our dog Harvey enjoyed meeting one of the dogs on the farm, Buzz. The farm is in a nice quite area. Great stay.
