The herd is built on named sires with published pedigrees, among them The NF Black Magic, Veteran's Gran Picasso and Han Fam King Arthur, and the farm publishes a kidding schedule each season that lists every doe, her sire and her due date.
What the farm sells today is raw goat milk for pets, alongside goat milk soap, goat milk shampoo bars and goat milk lotion made with the herd's own milk. Desert Valley Promise says it hopes to begin selling raw goat milk for human consumption within the next year. 💗Corner Scoop is the heart of Sonoita💗 We’ve been coming to Corner Scoop since our twins were two years old, and it has become our Sunday stomping grounds. We absolutely LOVE this place. In a time when genuine customer service can feel like a lost art, this family-owned and operated little gem is bringing it back with class, kindness, and heart. Everyone is HAPPY. They’re warm, lovely, and genuinely seem excited to see you. And they remember you. ❤️ If you had a conversation with them weeks ago, they’ll pick it right back up and ask how things are going. They remember where you are in life, what your family likes, and all those tiny details that make you feel less like a customer and more like a neighbor. Our kids often share a custom burrito, and they don’t just cut it in half. They lovingly wrap EACH HALF in its own foil so I don’t have to rip the thing apart like a burrito barbarian in the parking lot. 😂 It sounds like such a small thing, but THAT is Corner Scoop. Great food and ice cream will get you through the door. Being treated like someone who matters is what keeps you coming back year after year. And I truly believe that if more people took a few minutes to write reviews for the businesses that quietly do what they do exceptionally well, Corner Scoop would have THOUSANDS of five-star reviews.
