The Farmhouse on Persimmon Hill is the Broderick family's dairy farm in Booneville, Arkansas, providing raw milk, handcrafted dairy products and homesteading education to families who care about where their food comes from.
Twice a day, every day, Tia milks their dairy cows, bottles the milk and organises orders, while Ryan, a retired Army veteran, runs the tractor and hay work. The family landed in Arkansas after a wildfire took their Colorado home, were gifted a bottle raised Katahdin ram lamb, and grew from there into a working farm.
Raw milk, cream, butter, yogurt and other handcrafted dairy are available weekly for pickup in Fort Smith, Greenwood, Huntington, Waldron, Y City and Mena, or at the farm, with jars reserved by order and a one time jar deposit at first pickup. The farm also raises beef cattle, Katahdin sheep and Kunekune pigs, and shares what it learns through courses and a farm blog.

I started getting milk from this dairy last year and have been enjoying it ever since. I was fortunate enough to bring my K-2 students for a field trip, and the kids learned so much! When the chance came for me to take a cheese making class, I just couldn't pass it up! God has definitely provided for my family and community through this farm, and we will be forever grateful for these farmers!

We have been getting milk from Tia and Ryan for over a year now and we can’t go back to any other! It is so fresh and delicious! They work so hard and care so much about their dairy queens and their customers. We also love the raw yogurt, butter, crumble cheese and sour dough bread. I have also purchased and used their fire cider and tallow balm which are awesome as well. It is very important to our family to find locally sourced food and products and the Farmhouse on Persimmon Hill is a gem! So thankful for what they do and to be able to support them!
