I purchased three goats from Saddlebrook, and it was an excellent experience from the beginning. I loved visiting the goats there until I could bring them home. My husband and I adore our goats, and he enjoys teaching them tricks. Kale has mastered the "up" command, and they are very intelligent. They have been the best addition to our family.
I had the most incredible experience at Saddleback Mountain Ranch today! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a place run with true passion and care. They knowledgeable but also incredibly kind and welcoming. A special thank you to Linda, who went out of her way to make the visit extra special. She was open to showing us the baby goats, sharing her deep knowledge, and making the experience truly unforgettable. Everything at Saddleback Mountain Ranch is well-organized, and it’s evident that they take great pride in what they do. We had the opportunity to connect with the animals, learn something new, and simply enjoy a peaceful and enriching experience. For roughly a year, my husband and I were talking about adding goats to our animal family. My husband found Saddleback Mtn Ranch. I immediately emailed Linda, and a response was received quickly with all of the information I was asking for along with a welcome to come to the ranch to meet the goats. Upon arriving there, you can tell that Linda and Andree are people who care about the goats. When talking with them, there was a connection that felt like we have known each other for years. They were supportive and addressed any questions we had. We adopted that day and returned when they were old enough to come home. Linda provided us with food and treats to start off with. She has also checked in to make sure everything is going smoothly, to see if we had any questions, as well as sharing more information about the goats' care. We love having them, and if we choose to add to our herd in the future, Saddleback Mtn Ranch with Linda and Andree will be where we go.
Red Rooster Ranch is a solar powered family goat dairy in Agua Dulce, California offering raw Nigerian Dwarf goat milk through a herd share, plus registered goats and classes.
Red Rooster Ranch is a family operated, solar powered Nigerian Dwarf dairy goat farm in Agua Dulce, just north of Los Angeles. Because California law does not allow direct sales, raw goat milk is offered through a herd share: members buy a share of the herd and pick up milk from their own goats at the ranch on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings. Nigerian Dwarf milk is naturally the sweetest and richest of the goat breeds, and some of their does topped 9% butterfat in 2025. Members get first access to extras such as handcrafted chevre, feta and occasionally raw honey.
The herd is managed holistically: no routine vaccines, chemical parasite control or antibiotics unless truly necessary, with preventative care and a pasture based environment instead. All adult goats are ADGA registered and tested for CAE, CL and Johne's, always negative. Manure is composted back into the gardens, spent hay feeds the chickens, and the ranch runs on well water and solar power. They also breed registered goats and teach homestead dairy classes.
