Bad customer service, they can't even tell you the price when you ask for it. Very rude boy was working there.
Friendly service, good quality eggs.
Cute little farm with a sweet selection of eggs and goods. The petting zoo had some very friendly goats and curious birds and livestock. Maybe don’t visit in the middle of the day in the middle of July, but there was a decent amount of shade for cooling down in, and a hand washing station.
Overall we had a great experience with them and will be back in we ever want to grow our flock. It’s a great little family business worth supporting!
Been looking for a new egg supplier since Vital Farms sold out. These eggs are pretty mediocre. Flat yolk. Very runny whites. Over priced mid eggs with extra marketing that presents premium and faith based. I dont buy it.
Cool place! They have a play ground that has shade and picnic tables. Surrounding it are goats, pigs, a horse and cow, chickens and peacocks, turkeys and goats. The goat pin you can go inside and give them some pets. They have little fending machines like the kind you put a quarter in a twist for candy. But instead of candy, food comes out like corn or alfalfa pellets. You use those by buying tokens inside the office. Which cost 75cents a token. The little vending machines are located in front of the goat pin. Facing the front office, or east, you can go to the left and walk up the paved road to a few pins that have a donkey and a huge pig. There looked to be two pins that were empty. Sometimes they may have animals in there too. The other-side I mentioned earlier has a little trail you can walk around the property that borders the edge of it. About a 5 minute walk past the free range chickens and horse pasture. There is an admission of $10 per person. A convenience store with some food a drinks. And you can buy eggs too.

I buy all my eggs here. A lot of times I got to the drive up window. It's super convenient. Always greeted by a sweet young person. Always polite and smiling. There's a school on the premise and a petting zoo. So please be careful as you navigate.
Happy Hens is a delightful place for many reasons. Their eggs are as fresh as you can get, organic, and in sizes that will meet any kitchen's needs -- Small to Jumbo. Their quaint little store is set up with locally sourced goods from artisan breads to honey, and a variety of snacks if you choose to grab a bite to eat at the picnic tables out front. Special, if you are taking kids: a small petting zoo with educational signs and smart employee talks are available for a small charge in a nicely-maintained outdoor area. The staff working at Happy Hens are exceptionally nice, always greeting customers with warmth. And the drive up is spectacular, with fields and boulders making a picturesque drive to Ramona worth going. Yeah, I could buy eggs anywhere. I choose to go here!
Was in Sierra Madre, decide to drive to Ramona to happy hens because of their Instagram account I had seen. Adorable small farm house shop. Small, but cute. Had a small selection of local items for sale including quality ingredient sourdough bread which I bought, along with happy hen eggs which were delicious. Grounds were clean, Milo is adorable - buy the carrot! He really really wants you to lol. The cashier was quiet: ) but answered my questions.
Happy Hens is a charming spot perfect for introducing children to farm animals. If you're near Ramona, I recommend stopping by; they offer organic eggs in various sizes. There is an extra charge for entering the animal area, and if you want to feed the animals, they sell feed for that purpose. Outside food isn't allowed. It’s a fun experience for kids, who can see chickens, goats, horses, cows, pigs, donkeys, turkeys, geese, and sheep. They also have a small shop selling other products besides eggs. Since the store is small, I suggest leaving strollers outside if you're bringing kids or a stroller.
