Twilight Dairy is an Amish family dairy in rural Rockville, Indiana, run by Amos and Hannah Esh with their son John.
After years of selling commodity milk to a co op the family grew discouraged, switched to an all Jersey herd and began marketing directly. The farm is certified organic with 100% grass fed cows, and its slogan is that natural goodness is a way of life.
Raw milk comes through a membership: you sponsor a cow for a small down payment and a monthly fee, and the farm gifts you five gallons of raw milk a month. In their own processing facility on the farm the family also makes cheese, cheese curds and yogurt for retail sale, pasteurised and the hard cheese aged over 60 days, alongside the raw fluid milk sold directly through the cow sponsorship. Twilight Dairy sells at the Saturday farmers market in Bloomington and through the Market Wagon local food delivery service, and the farm has no website of its own.

Not much there, but cheese is really goid.

I almost missed this place, but saw the signs on the road. The store on the farm had a sign above the door and inside was a little shop where you could get several of their cheese and a variety of other There was no one working the store when I walked in, but they showed up right after. They had cheeses, eggs, some milk and yogurt and a some handmade items. I got the smoked cheddar and a Gouda along with some kombucha. I was very happy to have found this place - everything was delicious. As with most Amish stores, they don't take credit cards, so bring your cash!
