The table was ready on time, the service was very good. Our server was never too far if we needed anything. The food was even better. NY Strip (med-rare) cooked to perfection. The price is worth the steak in this case. Came with roasted carrots with perfect amt of sweetness. The potatoes must have been pureed, so smooth. Best friend in from California made the night even more special. I have lved in Zville since '81 and my 1st visit, hopefully not my last.
Excellent dining.
Cheese Sample Plate was great, albeit expensive in comparison to the biscuits and gravy and cinnamon roll. All the food was great though and the grounds are beautiful. We went in the fall, we wanna go back in the summer when the garden is in full swing. Definitely recommend at least once, maybe more. Nice place for a date.
Great Brunch spot! Enjoyed the porch overlooking the farm. The Farmstead Mimosa and Biscuits & Gravy were delicious!
Wonderful atmosphere and venue solid food with great monthly sourced menu items.
Fresh and creamy ice cream! The blueberry flavor is really good!
Updated..Loved the steak and bucatini — both were excellent. Really fresh ingredients and you can tell it’s farm-raised. Only downside: service was really slow and communication was tough. Be patient and you’ll be rewarded with great food. Update Sept 4, 2026 Visited the restaurant again today outstanding service five star presentation fresh flavorful foods. Definitely stepped up their game; well worth a visit.
I had a wonderful weekday lunch at Traders Point Creamery. The setting was peaceful and rustic, creating an inviting atmosphere right away. I ordered the Cheese & Meat Board, with a zero-proof peach drink, and everything was delicious. The house-made cheeses were a highlight — fresh and well balanced, while the herb butter was especially memorable — silky and infused with bright, garden-fresh flavor. For dessert, the homemade coffee chocolate chip ice cream was incredible. Rich and velvety, it had espresso notes and chocolate pieces that made each bite indulgent and satisfying. Service was equally excellent — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Overall, it was a beautiful experience, and I would happily return.
First time trying Trader’s Point Creamery, and we’ll definitely be back! We had the grilled cheese with potato leek soup, the French dip, and the mac & cheese, and everything was delicious. You can really tell they take pride in everything they make and use quality, organic ingredients. It’s a little pricier than your average lunch spot, but it’s worth it. The staff was so friendly, and we loved walking through the beautiful chef’s garden after lunch.
This is such a beautiful hidden gem. The food is fabulous and the service is exceptional. The presentation is wonderful! The food is fresh and the attention to detail is exquisite! The cheese and butter here is some of the best ice ever had. Don't miss out on these cheese and meat plate. It's fabulous! The ice cream is also very rich and creamy! You won't regret coming here!
Great experience. Lovely food: very tasty and fresh. Vibe and service are also top notch! A little pricey, but for all the quality they offer it’s worth it!
We had an excellent brunch at The Loft in Trader’s Point Creamery! One of the best breakfasts I’ve had *anywhere* in Indianapolis. The cinnamon roll was tender and moist, the frosting was bursting with flavor. The fried chicken was crispy, and the waffle was robust and perfectly cooked. The sausages and eggs were perfectly seasoned and the biscuit tasted just like the thing homemade biscuit dreams are made of! It was accompanied by a refreshing mango margarita. I have no notes to give on this experience, it was well worth the drive to Zionsville. The grounds are well maintained and visually appealing, the perfect setting to an excellent meal. Everything is farm-to-table so you’re not going to find much fresher ingredients.
Traders Point Creamery is a certified organic, 100 percent grassfed dairy farm in Zionsville, Indiana with a farm store, creamery, dairy bar and restaurant.
Traders Point Creamery is a working organic dairy farm on Moore Road in Zionsville, Indiana, on the northern edge of Indianapolis. The farm began bottling certified organic milk and selling direct to customers across central Indiana in the summer of 2003, and it says it was the first USDA certified organic farm in the state. Its herd of Brown Swiss and Jersey cows is 100 percent grassfed with no grain ever, grazing pastures sown with well cultivated grass blends, and the farm states it never uses synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics or hormones. The organic certification is verified against USDA standards by Indiana Certified Organic.
The creamery makes creamline milk, cheese and ice cream in small batches and packs them in glass bottles and jars. The farm pasteurizes its milk but does not homogenize it, so the cream rises as it naturally would, and no raw milk or raw cheese line is offered. The Farm Store is open six days a week and carries the dairy alongside organic and pastured meats and local goods such as honey, olive oil, preserves, granola and baked goods. The farm also runs The Loft restaurant, an open air dairy bar, farm tours and event venues in its historic barns.
