That is how raw milk legally works in Kentucky, so members buy a share of the herd and pay a monthly boarding fee that covers the feeding, care and milking of the cows.
A full share brings roughly four gallons of milk a month, or butter in its place, and a half share brings about two gallons. To join, fill in the herd share agreement form on the website and the farm will get in touch to confirm payment and sort out your share of the herd.
