Baker's Bleating Acres is a small family farm in south central Kentucky, home to registered Jersey cows, Nigerian Dwarf goats, Muscovy ducks and a variety of chicken breeds.
The family is working towards a more self sufficient way of living and shares what it learns through hands on classes and workshops at the farm.
Raw cow and goat milk is offered through herd shares, with value added dairy available to members. The onsite farm store, The Milkhouse Market, stocks seasonal fruit and vegetables, local meat and eggs, fresh honey, jams and jellies, artisan bread and baked goods, natural apothecary items and the farm's own goat's milk soap. It opens Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
