Pigs, including heritage breeds, are farrowed and raised out on pasture with supplemental grain and no antibiotics or vaccines. Broilers are moved across the pastures daily and fed non GMO grain, the beef herd is grass fed with free choice hay, and the hens free range all day, so the eggs are never washed or refrigerated.
Pork is processed on the farm and sold only in shares, while beef, chicken and eggs are sold through the online store. Raw milk comes through a herd share scheme, since raw milk cannot legally be sold in Mississippi, with one share of the herd entitling you to a gallon a week.
