Deb keeps about twenty goats, mostly Saanens with a few Toggenburgs, and has kept them since the family's first goats arrived as 4-H projects in 1999. Every kid is bottle raised and thoroughly spoiled, which is why the goats that leave here are friendly and easy to handle. Registered kids go to new homes each spring, and Deb helps people starting a small farm or homestead choose the right animals and learn how to look after them.

The goats are fed only forage and no grain, meaning pasture and hay the farm raises or buys in organic, plus rehydrated alfalfa cubes at milking. Raw milk is available through a herd share, which is how Ohio law lets people drink milk from animals they part own, and a share is collected at the farm each week at an agreed time. Deb and her assistant Danelle also make a full line of goat milk soaps and lotions, using milk from their own goats plus a friend's herd when their own cannot keep up. Farm visits are bookable through the website, where you can help give the hay, meet the goats and try your hand at milking.
