Field of Dreams Dairy is a family dairy near O'Donnell, Texas offering real milk herd shares from grass fed registered Jersey cows, plus pastured pork, chickens, free range eggs, vegetables and pecans.
Field of Dreams Dairy and Farm is run by Scott and Brandi Brooks, who bought their farm near O'Donnell, Texas in 2003.
Their herd of around 25 purebred registered Jersey cows, plus several heifers, grazes on world feeder grass under 200 pecan trees that are about 30 years old. The family has always farmed in harmony with the land, trees and animals: no chemicals, pesticides or herbicides, just the old fashioned way.
Milk is offered through herd shares, and the farm's goal is to go back to basics and provide nutritious real milk and farm fresh products. Alongside the dairy they raise whey fed, pasture raised pork and pasture raised chickens with free range eggs, grow seasonal vegetables such as tomatoes, squash, okra, onions and green beans, and harvest pecans.
