Legacy Farms is a family owned, partly woman owned farm at Hempstead, Texas, with more than three decades of farming behind it.
The chickens are pasture raised and free range, housed in solar powered mobile houses that move across the grass, fed a 100% certified organic, non-GMO diet, and hand processed in the Zabiha Halal tradition. Air chilling, rather than water chilling, protects flavour and texture, and every product can be traced back to the farm.
You can order online for delivery, buy over the phone, or call in at the on site store on weekdays. The farm supplies businesses as well as families, and its work supports refugee families in the community.

Don't bother driving all the way here. Drove 45 mins here...no signs, or directions as to which building to go. No one in sight. Phone number is registered to some marketing agency so u can't talk to anyone. Good luck....
Great place to buy pasture raised chicken.
Called no answer. Texted no answer. Don't bother.
Imagine this: traveling to a place just a short drive away to stay at a farm, escaping all the loud noises of an urban population. Mix this with activities such as fishing, basketball, archery, golf carts, kayaking on a pond. Seeing livestock including goats, sheep and chicken, as well as having a guided tour to learn about the quality of your food. An amazing place, I highly recommend coming here for just a weekend with your family or friends!
