***UPDATE** their license has been expired since 2021 and there is not one active in the TDHHS site!!! - explains plenty. Former review: grew up a farmers kid, I know what raw milk should look and taste like, with variants. first and last time here- cows were competing for any shade. Some were filthy from diarrhea (bacteria and infection to products) and breathing much too heavily. Some were clean and looked promising -the ones up front of course- but most had painfully full and filthy udders in the back pasture. I bought cream, milk, and goat cheese. goat cheese - unworthy and could have bought at Aldi for 1/3 the price. The cream seemed ok but their plastic lid did not properly seal so I threw it out once I realized. The milk- Watered down so badly that when I took it out of my VERY COLD cooler to put in the fridge the real milk separated from the half gallon of WATER at the bottom. Zero creamy layer. This is criminal robbery of customers. Then I tried it- can you say BACTERIA? It tasted like fish left out in the sun. And no- it wasn’t a “genetic mutation” Google explains. I had explosive you-know-what from one cup. I tried it one more time on an empty stomache to make sure it wasn’t anything else, my stomache is now in shreds. You can be sick for a week or more from this kind of contamination with raw products not handled correctly. I should have done my homework to see the dead animals in their trash pile a few years ago, and their expired licenses and public reports from animal cruelty. Shame on yall for how you treat your animals and customers. Shame. Not all of us are ignorant to the industry and you are profiting off of those who don’t know any better. I’ll be filing a report.

Friendly with a great assortment of fresh and raw options. Their kambucha tastes better tan any I have ever tried. I will certainly be visiting their store again.

Wonderful local grass-fed farm for high quality raw cow/goat milk, raw honey, cow/goat cheeses, several options of fruited or plain yogurt, kefir, heavy cream, chicken/duck eggs, kombucha, chocolate/strawberry milk, colostrum, to name a few: ) you can also feed the animals next to the pickup cabin 🥹 Very kind and friendly family, absolutely love supporting Calico Farms! Highly recommend.

Nice place we loved feeding the animals! There was a blip with what we were charged but it was corrected! We really enjoyed it!

Update i had 5 star for a long time and lately quality at this farm had went down i bought milk and the day after milk taste sour. Ive notice everytime I buy the milk now the milk there refrigerators are warm mabe it's the refrigerator. I dont know but i cant be buying milk and only lasting 1 day. And m I gonna go back and complain. Hope they read this and fix 5h3 problem because I had to buy from 5 oaks dairy in livingston which is very very good all the time. 2 dollars more per gallon buy it last longer amd taste much better.

Went there today...some cows have 0 shade from the sun...they looked extremely thirsty and hot. The store wasnt filled because their fridges went out (not their fault) this was my 2nd time here...but they seemed to have much less animals this time. It was a different experience than my first time. But its good. I 🙏 they give those cows some shade, fix their fridges and possibly offer more up to see/do for their visitors. 🙏

I was looking for some fresh raw cows milk as my normal supplier was out, so I found this cute little market!! They had a great selection of milk, eggs & meats of all varieties!!! Really enjoyed this little farm!!! FYI, take it SLOW down their rough road though, as it may damage a car!!

First time visit. Authentic dairy cows. Calves to pet. Two funny llamas. Turkeys, chickens and goats. The little store of dairy items is stocked nicely. There's fresh eggs, butter, cream, milk, German sausage, cheeses, etc. we'll be back.

I bought my first dairy cow, MayBelle, from Herman at Calico. She has been a wonderful cow! She is so sweet with everyone in our family. She calved a few weeks ago, a beautiful boy that we named Truffle. She has been a great mother and produces a lot of milk even as we are calf sharing. Herman has been very helpful, mentoring me throughout the entire process. I definitely recommend working with and buying from him.

Calico Fresh Market is a wonderful place to shop for fresh, local products. They offer a great selection of raw milk, honey, butter, cheese, yogurt, meat, and eggs. All high quality and delicious. The little store off the beaten path, has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, and the employee there was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for fresh, farm-to-table goods!

I love their milk, kefir, cheese, and butter. They are more products you can get from here and I am so sure everything is good. Everyone here is nice and friendly. Cows, goats, rabbits, and chickens are happy living here too. Take a trip here sometimes to pet them and try their products, you and the kids will love it ❤️
