Great selection. Wonderful owners. I drive 40 minutes monthly to buy chicken feed. Great products. Great price!!
Wonderful people with great products.
Its very hard to find non gmo chicken feed in northeast tennessee. We were lucky to be told about these guys. Their non gmo feed is almost half the price of what we were paying at the the big box stores like tractor supply and rural king. High quality local products, with good customer service at a cheap price point. I wish I knew about this place earlier.
They had the winter rye I needed. The service was fast.
Best supply farm store in Abingdon. The owner is always super friendly and helpful with answering any questions that I may have. Parking lot is big enough if you need to bring a trailer. They have lots of gardening supplies, animal feed and all the things that you need for homestead. Everything is very reasonably priced as well! I have bought their compost and it's some of the best around. My plants grow amazing in it!
The best place to go for all of your growing needs! Steve and Johnny are so so helpful and really take their time to help you figure out what you need for your garden. They also have the best deal on compost!!
This is definitely the best place to get what you need for growing organically. In fact they are the only place within a 2 hour radius from Abingdon that I'm aware of. I had a long list and they only had a few of the items I was needing but they were priced reasonable which saved me from giving more of my $$ to Amazon. They have basic amendments and they carry Maine compost which actually works better than expected. Also a great place to get perlite, a huge bag for $20. The owner gets 5 stars from me too. He knows his stuff but still welcoming to noobs. And for things he didn't have he mentioned looking into it to stock for me. So awesome place awesome people.
Ashwood Acres is an off grid holistic farm near Abingdon, Virginia, selling raw goat milk, kefir and cheese through membership, plus pastured pork, eggs, breads and grass fed tallow goods.
Ashwood Acres is an off grid holistic farm of about 20 acres near Abingdon, Virginia, started by Ken and Becky in 2020 after raw goat milk transformed their family's health. The farm runs on solar power and rainwater catchment and raises Nubian dairy goats, cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens and ducks, watched over by livestock guardian dogs. Animals are moved daily on rotational grazing to build soil and rest the pasture, and the farm never uses vaccinations, antibiotics, dewormers, synthetic fertilisers or genetically modified feed.
Raw goat milk, goat milk kefir and raw goat cheese are sold through the farm's membership, alongside pastured pork cuts, hand graded chicken eggs, fresh baked einkorn and spelt breads, and a full range of grass fed tallow soaps, balms and deodorants that are also stocked on Etsy and in Abingdon shops. Pickup runs Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday mornings at 25245 Lee Highway in Abingdon.
