Silver Ridge Farm is a family beef farm in South Stafford, Virginia, a short drive from downtown Fredericksburg, run by father and son Jerry and Mike Silver.
Cattle are pasture raised, then finished on cereal grains and hay grown on the farm with no till methods, work that has earned the Chamber of Commerce Environmental Award and Conservation Farm of the Year.
A state inspected custom butcher, the farm sells beef by the share in whole, half, quarter and sixteenth portions. Small shares of around 25 to 30 pounds can be bought online, larger shares are arranged by phone or email, and orders are collected frozen at the farm, so bring coolers.

Purchased the online 1/16th package to try it out and see if I like it. Ibhave tried other farms and this hands down the best I have ever dealt with!! Friendly family with great communication and quick responses. Meat is packaged well and labeled in proper portion sizes. Very very fresh and great tasting. I will definitely be placing an order for a half and will solely be using their beef in the future!

We’ve been buying a meat from them probably last 18 years or more. Best of them all, even we moved to North Carolina 12 years ago. I’m not bragging but there meat is so good, I don’t go out and order steak or hamburgers because Silver ridge farm meat is way better than any other places we went, least to us. We love the family and they’re very good people.
