Country Meadows Dairy is a family run micro dairy just outside Lander, Wyoming, part of the Francisco Family Ranch.
Jan Francisco keeps a small herd of Jersey cows raised on pasture and turns their milk into raw milk, yogurt, buttermilk, cheese curds and the occasional probiotic soda, along with baked goods.
The dairy follows the best practices of the Raw Milk Institute and completed the RAWMI listing process in 2026, becoming listed farm number 65. Its milk is tested regularly for safe coliform and bacteria counts so customers get a clean, safe product. The dairy's products are available year round at Meadowlark Market on Main Street in Lander, and Jan says the venture has given her freedom, new skills and a connection with the animals.
