Purchased 2 Ribeye steaks that were very good plus had a realy nice buying experience at the market. Thanks a lot.

I've purchased bulk beef from here twice (September, 2023, and November 2024). The first cow had a fishy taste in the fat that became increasingly noticeable as the months went on. I figured this was just a weird batch and didn't really finish any of the steaks because we couldn't stomach them, so we ordered a second cow. The second cow actually had a much stronger fishy taste in the fat (the ground beef tastes fine, but the steaks are basically inedible). I had hopes for having good bone broth, but the fishy taste made it un-useable. We did reach out to the farm and let them know. On a positive note, we do know that these cows are healthier than store-bought, and that is what makes leaving this review so tough. Hopefully they have figured out what is going on.

The beef was delicious the first time I bought it around 2022. The beef I bought in 2024 had a very fishy taste in the fat, no method of cooking or preparation mitigated the fishy taste. It almost made some of the cuts inedible. The beef we purchased in 2025 had a different off taste in the fat, I can only compare the flavor to that of Crisco but not in a pleasant way. I'm not sure why the meat went downhill so much after the first time we tried it. I reached out to the owner but was unable to find any reason the meat had such an off flavor. If you buy from here I hope you don't end up with the same issue we did.

This beef tastes incredible! Not only are their products some of the best I've seen, but the customer service is top of the line. Friendly, kind, and flexible delivery!
