New Village Farm milks Normande cows and a small mixed herd of dairy goats at Shelburne, Vermont, on a farm that doubles as a farm school for children.
At milking the animals get alfalfa, kelp and minerals, then spend the day on pasture or hay, and the beef herd is 100% grass fed and grass finished, with calves nursing from their mothers and pastures rotated twice a day in the growing season.
Raw cow and goat milk, beef and eggs are sold from the self serve farm stand on Harbor Road, open every day from 8am until dusk, taking cash, card, cheque and Venmo. Regulars can join the Reserve Milk programme and have their own jars filled for a weekly pickup.

We went to the farm today for goat snuggles (reseverations needed). It was such a phenomenal experience! Sam was our guide; he knew everything there was to know about everything on the farm, and we left feeling much more knowledgeable about goats, and are now eager to try goat milk! This was a very small, intimate interaction, which made the experience that much more memorable. Highly, HIGHLY recommend a goat snuggle experience at New Village Farm!

Magical family friendly farm! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at NVF. Even on a rainy spring day it was a big hit with kids and parents alike. Many thanks to Sam for being so great with the kids and to NVF for a fantastic and memorable birthday.
This is my first time trying raw cow milk and it is delicious! Thank you village farm for your amazing products! If ever I am back in Vermont, I'll definitely be coming back here to buy more cow milk and maybe the meat and goat milk as well. I love knowing the cows are grass fed and well treated. The self-serve and various paying methods were awesome as well.

Great asset to the community. The farm stand offers fresh raw milk, eggs and other great things. Goat yoga was fun and my friend’s kids love the camps and programs. I found the owner and employees to be engaging and knowledgeable. I am renting a small garden plot in the community gardens and the person coordinating this has been helpful.
I live near Boston, MA. My friend was staying nearby and he bought raw milk for me from this farm. Best raw milk I have ever tried, this comment is coming from someone who came from a country where we only have raw milk and grow up consuming raw milk so I know what a good quality milk is and this is one of the best. Unfortunately, i have tried to get raw milk after that from a farm near my house and it’s not even close to the quality of the raw milk at new village farm. I was wondering if you guys deliver products to Massachusetts as if this can be happened i will definitely be a regular customer of your product.
