Essex Farm is a full diet, year round CSA farm in Essex, New York growing vegetables, fruit, grass fed meat, pasture raised eggs, raw milk, maple syrup and grains for its members.
Essex Farm is a year round, whole diet CSA farm in Essex, New York, in the Adirondacks a mile from the Essex Charlotte ferry dock.
One of the only full diet, free choice membership farms anywhere, it raises and grows what its members need for the whole year, vegetables and fruit, grassfed meat, pasture raised eggs, raw milk and dairy, maple syrup, grains, flours and dry beans, plus fermented and value added products. The farm is not certified organic but follows or exceeds the National Organic Standard, except where that would discourage proper medical care for an animal, and never uses conventional pesticides or herbicides.
There is also a small farm store on NY Route 22, open self serve around the clock, with the farm's grassfed meat, raw milk and seasonal produce alongside locally made goods.

If you are on your way to the ferry from Essex to Vermont, you need to stop here go to the Farm store get some amazing bread amazing milk, amazing vegetables and so much more. Meet the farmers in the back you can go and look at the livestock lots of fun Farmer Mark is a great guy and his staff is amazing.

The Essex farm is the widest range of regenerative, more than organic produce, meat, dairy, and more than I have ever seen! We have been going every week to pick up our weekly groceries and their value added items are delighted to our lives! We also love doing the pick your own flowers in the fall! I fully recommend membership to this farm, if not at least stop by their farm store and check out what they have!
