If you are on your way to the ferry from Essex to Vermont, you need to stop here go to the Farm store get some amazing bread amazing milk, amazing vegetables and so much more. Meet the farmers in the back you can go and look at the livestock lots of fun Farmer Mark is a great guy and his staff is amazing.
I just could not put down, Kristin Kimball's book "The Dirty Life". What a wonderful story about a wonderful place. ❤️
The Essex farm is the widest range of regenerative, more than organic produce, meat, dairy, and more than I have ever seen! We have been going every week to pick up our weekly groceries and their value added items are delighted to our lives! We also love doing the pick your own flowers in the fall! I fully recommend membership to this farm, if not at least stop by their farm store and check out what they have!
I adore their farm stand and its a must stop. One of my favorite places to grab treasures and I make it a point to do so whenever I'm in the area. Will also go out of my way to make it here.
Incredible farm and farmers. CSA and farm store have more variety than any other I have ever visited. The owners, Kristen and Mark have been doing this for 20+ years and produce some of the best vegetables, meat and dairy you will ever consume. A true Organic farm!
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up
Lovely farm, growing great food. In fact they grow all our nutritional needs: Grains, vegetables, dairy, meat(s), Maple Syrup, and Berries. Responsible farmers, building up the health of the soil too! You can shop at their farm store, you can join their CSA for year round(!) great food… they even deliver to Albany, NYC, and points in between.
This place has heart. Recommend bringing a lot of water if you go to the tomatoes on a hot day. Mark and Isabelle saved my life 5/5.
