Easily the best jerky I've ever had. They had tri-tip steak and it's a self-serve.
The best beef in Vermont!
Amazing burgers served by good people, support your local farms!
Delicious, fresh burgers. Love the Cabot cheeseburger with a fried egg!
Exceptional quality and great value. The cows have plenty of grazing land and are very well cared for. I may be bias because I live a few houses down but I don't like to get beef anywhere else.
I was recently gifted 4 Grass Cattle Company steaks for Father's Day 2025. My daughter lives in Charlotte, VT and knows that I love my steaks. I just finished my first; a Beef Tenderloin (Filet Mignon) and I am blown away! Seasoned with salt, pepper, and some garlic powder. Three minute sear on both sides and 7 minutes in my oven. I let the steak rest for about 4 minutes and could not be more impressed! I'm looking forward to cooking the remaining three!!! What a great Father's Day present!!!
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

I decided to buy a 'top quality' steak as a special dinner for my husband...his comment was, "Don't bother getting any more beef from that place, it's tough..." Damn it-he was right. $26 for a rib eye and even my 8 year old dog couldn't swallow it. Back to Shaw's...
Great place to stock up on beef! Owner is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely passionate about his cattle. (I have no doubt the cattle are well cared for 🐄💚) The farm stand is clean, rustic and modern. Both these things make for a great Vermont farm stand experience. We primarily get ground beef. This beef is 100% grass fed, tastes so much better than store bought grass fed and it is cheaper than store bought! The steaks are also delicious!! We also love the insulated bag that the ground beef bundle comes with! More grocery bags, yay!
I found this place on accident and decided I'd bring home some pre pattied burgers, (for perspective, each burger cost about the same as a mcdouble) you can eat high quality meat pre pattied ready to thaw and throw in a pan. All I did was salt and pepper and got the most flavorful burger I've had from any farm before. This farm definitely knows what they're doing with the perfect beefy flavor and the right amount of fat that you aren't getting your usual Gras fed beef hockey pucks. Will definitely be a returning customer.
