Golden Apple Family Farm is reviving a historic corner property in Charlotte, Vermont.
The owners began by bringing a neglected orchard back to health with pollinator hives, which now produce raw honey, and have since added heritage laying hens, pastured broilers and turkeys, Mangalitsa pigs and a small flock of dual purpose Finnsheep that help renew the soil.
Raw honey is sold in 12oz jars through the farm's online ordering page, and the farm also sells direct at the gate, which is open daily. Eggs from the laying hens and pastured poultry round out what is on offer.
