Lara Cattle Company is a family run dairy farm in Shelbyville, Kentucky, run by Savannah and Gus with their daughter Wrenley growing up around the cows.
They milk their Jersey herd twice a day and bottle the raw milk on the farm for herdshare members, feeding the cows a non soy, non GMO ration. What began with a few show cows has grown into a proper working herd.
Milk is collected at the farm through the herdshare scheme, with a self service honesty box open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and delivery can be arranged as well. Phone or email to ask about joining.
