Beautiful.
Closed? August 16, 2025.
Great.
At the entrance there is a gate with a sign that says it is private property; a gentleman told us that the farm closed a long time ago.
Fantastic food and super customer service. Highly recommend!!!
Gr8 staff food meat top class.
A very enjoyable market with a fum atmosphere. The best quality Irish produce ranging from raw milk, artisan cheese and steaks, to arts and crafts. Something for everyone. Food trucks for the hungry adults and baby farm animals to keep the kids entertained. A great place to unwind on the weekend.
The Saturday Market here is worth a visit for your local meat, cheeses, eggs (laid that morning!), bread and other goodies.
Fantastic farm with a holistic and environmental mindset! With love both for the animals, the ground and the produce! Has a stand every Saturday with beef, pork and sometimes some veggies.
Donabate Dexter is a regenerative family farm in Donabate, County Dublin, selling grass fed pedigree Dexter beef, free range pork, lamb and eggs direct.
Donabate Dexter is a small beef farm on the land of the old Turvey golf course in Donabate, north County Dublin. Peter started it in 2015 with ten Dexter cows and a bull, and the growing herd moved to Turvey in 2017. Dexters are a small, hardy native breed that lives outdoors and grows slowly on grass, and the farm keeps them that way: no forced weaning, no routine wormers or antibiotics, and no imported soya or maize ration.
The farm works to regenerative principles, treating soil as living biology rather than chemistry, moving stock regularly, resting ground and using no synthetic nitrogen. Free range pork, lamb and eggs are reared to the same welfare standard. The beef is matured and cut by craft butchers and sold direct as mixed boxes or single cuts, with free local delivery around Donabate and delivery further afield. Orders are taken by phone, WhatsApp or email.
