Very good quality but painfully expensive.
The dry-aged ribeye I got last weekend was restaurant quality. You can really tell they care about where the meat comes from. Staff are always up for a chat and give great advice on cooking times.
Fantastic quality meat and a great local butcher. Unfortunately, the opening hours make it quite difficult to shop here if you work typical hours. It’s a shame, because I’d much rather support a local business like this than shop at the supermarket. If the hours were a bit more accessible that’d be absolutely amazing.
As a no UPF girly, I only eat sausages from the butchers and was very excited that the ‘Toulouse’ sausages were ‘award winning’. I was disappointed to say the least when I got home to discover that both the ‘Toulouse’ and pork and leek sausages have E numbers in them (as per the label). What was even more disappointing was that they were grainy and dry. Will not be purchasing sausages from here again.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Great local butcher. Fresh sausages in many varieties, meats, specialties for the bbq, organic eggs and even fresh bread.
Purveyors of fine quality meat. If you are into meat, don't walk past without making a visit! Had a beef and beer night consisting of short rib and a piece of rump the size of a newborn (premature). After 6hrs sous vide this meat made things happen inside me I never thought possible.
