Delicious organic meat, milk and eggs.
Really good.
The quality of the products is excellent. It was difficult to find a local butcher we could truly trust—one that cares about animal welfare and offers organic meat without relying on antibiotics, steroids, or other chemicals often found in conventional meat. I also really appreciate that they offer cuts that are hard to find in supermarkets, such as organs and bones for making healthy broths. We even buy organic raw pet food for our cats, and it feels great knowing we can feed them something truly healthy. Everything is consistently high quality, and the staff are always helpful and friendly—it’s genuinely a pleasure to shop there. If we ever need something special, they’re happy to set it aside for us, which makes things so much easier. We feel lucky to have you. Thank you! Aga & James.
I bought oxtail, it's the best oxtail I ever bought, my whole family love it when cooking during winter, the best casserole so far. I would definitely recommend this place. great quality meat.
Absolutely fantastic experience at The Green Butcher! The quality of the produce is outstanding — everything is incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and clearly sourced with care. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which makes shopping here a pleasure every time.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

A real foodie favourite and our go-to for good quality meat and bones (don't worry, the bones are for broth - we're not weird!). Fresher than supermarket and a good choice of nutritious cuts. And worth the trip, there's even craft beer from the artisan brewery just across the yard - recipe for a winning beef and ale stew!
Humour in this review. I was on the carnivore diet and popped in for some ribeye steaks. Seems they are sold before he gets them. Only time i have been told you cannot have what they are selling. Back on the carnivore hence back looking for a decent butchers but i doubt he will sell them to me. Maybe i can join a waiting list for next year. This was 2-3 years ago and i never went back.....obviously. Very strange experience indeed. 5 stars as it was unique and i can only imagine they must be great................pmsl.......i will never know.......
Last years (2023) Green Butcher supplied Turkey was enjoyed at our Christmas table. Nick found us a perfectly sized 4.5kg bird and following the supplied cooking instructions (first 60 mins breast side down, then flip, baste and finish for a further 75mins) ensured that the meat was cooked through and anything but dry! Both white and red meat had great flavour keeping both sides of the family happy. Obviously one can get cheaper lower welfare/quality, but for us the Green butcher offers great value.
