The family describes itself as the last traditional maker of clothbound Cheshire cheese still working within Cheshire itself.
The range runs from an award winning unpasteurised clothbound Cheshire, made with raw milk, through Blue Cheshire, Mrs Bourne's Mature, Oak Smoked, Red Cheshire and the 1845 Heritage Cheshire launched in October 2025. The cheeses have taken medals at the British Cheese Awards, the World Cheese Awards and the International Cheese and Dairy Awards, including Best Cheshire in 2024. Buy direct from the farm, at monthly farmers markets across Cheshire and the Wirral, in farm shops and delis across the UK, or by mail order.

Hollowood FarmButcher in MalpasHollowood Farm at Mates Lane in Malpas raises Aberdeen Angus beef, with lamb and pork from time to time. The cattle graze herbal ley pastures through spring, summer and autumn, managed by patch grazing to build soil health and capture carbon, with a small home grown mix of peas, barley and maize to balance their winter diet. Antibiotics are never routine, only ever a last resort.
Calves are bred and reared on the farm, lambs are born there, and pigs arrive as weaners and grow on at the farm. The beef is dry aged and hand cut by a trusted butcher, packed in fully recyclable vacuum packs, and delivered to order. Visits are by appointment, so get in touch to arrange one.

Absolutely terrible place it is all lies they do not sell any milk just overpriced tubs of snugburys ice cream and overpriced hot drinks. Steer clear and just head to marbury park.
