Bloomin amazing service thank you guys 😁
Friendly staff Great choice Even better food.
Excellent, authentic local butchers. I was only briefly stopping in Hawkhurst - en route from Hastings to Tunbridge Wells, a bus change here, so buy something to take back home to Devon, on the train. Decided to take a look at the Colannade, a row of shops renowned architecturally. Which is when I discovered Park Farm Butchers. The Olde Sussex sausages are really superb. Probably the best sausages I have ever tasted 👍 I will later buy some more online, to order.
First class delivery service with my Christmas food today. The driver (Lee?) couldn’t find me so had the good sense to call. (Was actually at the house next door). Ordering on line with home delivery is a must in the future. Thank you Andy to your amazing team, that probably hold it all together for you!!! 😃 Happy Christmas 🤶 and NY to you all x.
In the shop there are expired goods on the shelves. Meat and minced meat is picked with bare hands, but it must be done in gloves. This is not hygienic. The meat is not the freshest but the pork doesn't stink. The sellers assure meat is fresh but it's not. Quality of service and products is low. It's unacceptable.
Absolutely fantastic local butcher! I’ve tried the sausages, pies, rotisserie chicken, and steak- and everything has been brilliant. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into their products. The staff are friendly, the shop is spotless, and the food is consistently top-notch. It’s great to have such a gem in the area- I’ll definitely be a regular customer from now on!
Simply the best! The sweetest most tender and juicy lamb (excuse my attempt at French trimming). I've been delighted with all the meat I've had from Park Farm butchers and very friendly service. Highly recommended.
Park Farm Butchers is a Hawkhurst, Kent butcher's shop supplied by the family's own 300 acre pasture farm, selling free range, predominantly grass fed Sussex beef, Romney lamb and free range pork.
Andrew Clarke and his son William farm around 300 acres of Wealden farmland in the parish of Hawkhurst, running a suckler herd of about 40 Sussex cows and a flock of 150 Romney ewes. The animals graze grass pastures through the summer, with hay, haylage and grass silage made on the farm as the mainstay of their winter feed, and the farm manages wild flower meadows, hedgerows and woodland under the Higher Level Stewardship scheme, with school visits and open days.
The village butcher's shop on Rye Road, opened in 2001, sells the farm's free range, predominantly grass fed beef and lamb with full traceability: a blackboard names the herd and the farm behind the meat on display. Homemade sausages and burgers, dry cured bacon from free range pork, game and produce from like minded local farms fill the counters, and the team runs spit roasts for weddings and events.
