Lower Ladysden Farm Shop

Lovely little place, nice shop and cafe.

Had such a lovely time at Lower Ladysden PYO Farm! The pumpkin picking was so much fun and there was a really nice atmosphere. The food vans were great too, with loads of tasty options. We had a brilliant day and will definitely be back!

Having visited the cafe at the beginning of the summer which was a little disappointing and produce we bought very expensive, we thought we would give the cafe another visit today to see if things had improved. Unfortunately no! Although staff today were very pleasant and coffee is very good but the quiche of the day and salad was not good at all. Plenty of sad looking salad leaves, less than half a sliced tomato and a few pieces of cucumber, with nice coleslaw. The quiche, a very creative expression, was a very small tartlet with basically egg and a bit of tomato, less than 2cms in height and tasteless. Perhaps the description on the menu should read salad leaves with small tartlet on the side. Perhaps increase the price by one or two pounds and serve a slice of well made quiche, if you are going to call it a quiche salad. Unfortunately will not be visiting the cafe again.

Well Ian and Jane what can I say. From the moment we came to the minute we left you made our night you both are an absolute asset to the team. Thank you. Hannah and Nick.

Excellent PYO. We come here every year.

It's a nice café, but I personally found the farm shop disappointing as it was more pre packed items from miles away and not much local produce.

A lovely place to stop for a coffee while on a bike ride: great food and beautiful views.

Really good experience! Went yesterday around midday, was easy to access, everything was well managed and sign posted. Great additional touch of the farm shop, we managed to get 1.2kg of strawberries for £10 which I think is good value for fresh. Would recommend and will return ourselves!

I live miles away but I was speaking at a school round the corner so decided to pop in on the way back - easy to spot from the road and plenty of parking. Lovely farm shop and cafe - I would have stayed if I’d had the time! As it was, I filled a basket with local produce - strawberries, apricots, gin (!), jam and a gingerbread man and coffee cake for lovely husband. The apricots just about made it home but the sausage roll I couldn’t resist (absolutely delicious) didn’t! Buy British! Support our farmers!!!

Yet another amazing experience at Lower Ladysden. Its nice to drive an hour out of London to a PYO strawberries that actually taste amazing. Lovely to meet 'Vouge' (AKA Ian) that day. Although he didnt give us a dance his customer service skills was A Class👌🏾👌🏾. I'll be going back for my Turnips! Highly recommend a visit.

Nice place. PYO strawberries taste great and easy to pick up as plant beds are raised 1.5m above the ground. Younger kids might struggle to reach berries.

Strawberry picking- excellent experience. Book tickets if you plan to visit on weekends. The tickets are free- and you pay for what you pick- its ~5-7£ per bucket of strawberry (weighed). The farm is huge, parking is spacious, and staff is very kind and cheerful. There is no time limit on picking strawberries or raspberries. They have a lovely cafe with plenty outdoor seating. Definitely recommend.
