Excellent.
Enjoyed woodland walk, then off to the cafe for a cold drink - Elderflower and lemonade, very refreshing.
Are there animals to look at??we have recently moved to needham amd wanted somewhere different to take my daughter, she has autism so has much love for animals.
Alder Carr Farm in Suffolk arranged the loveliest hampers as the welcome gift for our daughter’s wedding. Not only beautifully wrapped, the hampers were carefully curated to provide delicious snacks for the several day long event, plus extra to take home. Especially loved the Snowdonia Mature Cheddar Cheese, Chocolate Covered Almonds, Shortbread, Mixed Nuts, Harris and James Chocolates, etc. All delicious. Did I also mention the additional basket of amazing strawberries freshly picked from their farm that morning? What a treat! Many thanks to Annette and The Team @Alder Carr for so thoughtfully arranging these incredible hampers! Our guests loved them! http: //www.aldercarrfarm.co.uk/
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Recommend booking a table for lunch as the cafe gets very busy at weekends. Daily specials board is available. Easy accessibility to most areas outside with gravelled areas. Inside, it would be helpful if the area to the right is rearranged as the tables are too close together. (18 & 19) Food was delicious, but the affogato was presented as a cup of an espresso and one scoop of icecream in a bowl. Not a proper Italian version where the standard cup is lined with icecream and the hot coffee then poured into the centre. Toilets have inward facing access door which effectively blocks the access to the cubicle.
Beautiful location, nice and cool in the coffee shop. Just don't expect your order to arrive without a significant delay. You will have to ask the chatting staff about your order. But don't worry there are plenty of flies around the tables to keep you company...
Visited on a Wednesday morning without a booking. The cafe was beginning to fill up quickly as was just after opening, and they found us a table straight away. Service was friendly and fast, and the food was very nice with good quality ingredients. The meal was good value for money, and a nice place to visit. There are a couple of small boutique shops in the courtyard, and a well stocked farm shop with butchers. Also, a selection of garden plants, and a deli counter. The food being sold un the shop is good quality, and the cafe food is well prepared, presented and tasty. Plenty of parking available.
Food and drinks were all delicious. The service was a little slow, but again it was a busy Sunday brunch time. Farm shop was really well stocked too, even on a Sunday. Little play areas were brilliant for our party with a 1 & 3 year old.
