Stilton and Pork sausages are THE best you’ll ever have, been going here for years and the quality is second to none, absolutely fantastic produce and lovely staff to go with, if I could give 6 stars I would!
Absolutely out of this world! Bought some hip bone steak whilst on a Lodge break. By far the best steak I have ever cooked/eaten. Delicious with a pepper sauce So tender and delicious! I also bought some chicken - planning to make Thai green curry. Not sure if it will do it justice. I’ll be back and I will check online if you deliver to my area. If you are in the area - you must try this place! Amazing!!! 4.9 star rating? Why - you are a 5!!
An absolutely brilliant butchers. Everything was have bought here was delicious and good value. We always appreciate the friendly service and have come back for years. We don't live locally but always detour to S&K whenever we are in Suffolk.
I’ve just cooked a sirloin steak from S&K, I reckon it was near 2 inch thick (the staff did chat about the rare breed and the age but my partner couldn’t remember the detail ☺️) nevertheless I’ve nurtured it in a frying pan (we are in a holiday home so needs must) for half an hour or so and crosscut the steak for two (ok I get it’s a one person steak 😂). I seriously do not have the words to praise the texture, taste and sheer joy that S&K’s provided me with. We have visited S&K a couple of times a year for many a year and today I just have to do this post. They are so knowledgeable and so helpful and so patient it’s a joy to shop. Back to the sirloin! Utterly outstanding. Oh and never ever walk out without buying as many rashers of bacon as you dare. Beyond 5* 👌

We bought the Aged sirloin hand cut to our specification. 250g each. I have to say, hand on heart that is the best steak I've ever cooked and tasted. It makes Fallow look poor and I love Fallow. You guys are the very very best. Thank you.
I had an incredible experience at Salter & King Butchers! I picked up 6 chicken breasts, 2 wild rabbits, and 6 lamb chops, and everything was absolutely top-notch. The meat was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cut, and you can tell they take real pride in sourcing quality products.
