Nature Nine Farms is Stewart Perkins' farm in Foley, in south Baldwin County, Alabama.
He came to farming through a small honey and soap business, then hands on work in cheese making and livestock, before setting up the farm. The animals live on pasture without chemical fertilisers, pesticides, antibiotics or artificial hormones, with chickens moved to fresh grass every day and cows grazing diverse pastures.
The farm sells free range chickens fed non GMO grain, eggs with rich yolks and forest raised bacon. Orders are placed through the online shop, with delivery or collection arranged with the farm.
