We were really excited to try this local farm because we love supporting small businesses and our local community. We purchased two packages of bacon, steaks, and several other meats, spending well over $100. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the overall quality of our order. Both packages of bacon had a very high amount of fat and very little meat. We completely understand that bacon is naturally fatty and that products from a local farm aren’t always going to look as uniform as what you find in a grocery store, but these packages felt excessive and probably shouldn’t have made it into a customer order. We were also disappointed with the steaks and a few of the other items we purchased. I hate leaving a less-than-positive review for a local business, especially because supporting local was a big reason we made such a large purchase in the first place. I’m sharing this more as constructive feedback and hope that a little additional quality control could help. We truly wanted to love everything and wish our experience had been better.

Maegen was super sweet and very helpful. I was on the hunt for lard, and she had pasture-raised pork fat for rendering lard. I'm so happy to have found Maegen’s farm and blessed to be able to purchase from this incredible family. I pray their business blooms!!!

Purchased a dozen eggs and a whole chicken online for farm pick-up. The process was easy, we drove the short distance from Pensacola and the owner met us on-farm. She showed us the farm and we talked about the animals, her wonderful soil, cheese making and other topics. Their produce is TRULY free ranged and you notice the difference when you prepare and consume it. We don't eat commercial grown meat unless we know exactly where it came from and how the animal lived. This is the REAL DEAL. Thank you.

Purely Pastured Farm is a family farm in Baldwin County, Alabama, raising meat and eggs entirely on pasture. The beef is 100% grass fed and finished, the pork, chicken and beef are rotationally grazed to feed the soil, and everything is raised without antibiotics, GMOs or mRNA vaccines, with humane handling as a founding rule of the farm.
Ordering happens online. Choose your products, then pick up at the farm in Baldwin County, use a local pickup point, or have it delivered to your door within a 22 mile radius. The farm serves customers across South Alabama and Northwest Florida, including Mobile, Pensacola, Fairhope and Gulf Shores.
