Stebbins Family Farm is a small family dairy in Athens, Alabama, milking Jersey cows and selling raw milk, eggs, chicken and home baked bread direct from the farm.
Stebbins Family Farm is a small farm on Flanagan Road in Athens, Alabama, run by Jastin and Kristen Stebbins with their four children.
The family moved to North Alabama from Washington in August 2021 and spent close to three years learning and growing before settling on dairy as the direction they wanted. Jersey cows are the heart of it now, and alongside them the family keeps chickens, ducks, guard geese and barn cats. They garden as best they can and say they are grateful for friends who are better at growing produce than they are.
The shop sells raw milk, either as a one off or as a monthly subscription, along with farm fresh eggs, duck eggs, chicken, and home baking that runs to white bread, buttermilk biscuits, cinnamon rolls and seven kinds of bagel. It also carries a Founders Circle membership and the farm's own logo hats and T shirts. The family are building a farm store to hold all their products in one place. Both Jastin and Kristen come from a 4-H and small farm background, and they teach through farm tours and field trips so visitors can see what small farm life is really like. Hours vary, so contact the farm to arrange a visit.

Come out and support the farmers market!

New and my kid went on little field trip to here and had a great time. Learned how to make butter and ice creme.

We took a tour here today with my clients that are special needs adults and we enjoyed it so much! The farm is beautiful and the animals were so much fun to see and learn about. We also made ice cream and butter. Highly recommend checking them out!
