Love this place.
Great.
Best chocolate milk I've ever had. Period. I'll be chasing that dragon now...
Working Cow Dairy Farm is such a cute local spot! I love that the self-serve drive-up store is open 24/7, making it so easy to stop by whenever you want fresh local products. They have whole milk, chocolate milk, eggs, butter, cheese, and more. We picked up the Slocomb tomato and garlic cheese, and it was absolutely delicious—so flavorful that I already can't wait to go back and buy more! We had actually started driving away, but decided to turn around and grab some chocolate milk too, and I'm so glad we did. It was incredibly creamy, rich, and full of flavor. You can really taste the difference. The honor-system checkout is simple and convenient—they accept **cash (exact change)** or **Venmo**, which makes it quick and easy to pay. We'll definitely be back. If you're looking for fresh, local dairy products and want to support a wonderful local farm, I highly recommend stopping by! 🥛🧀💕
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

This place has the best farm fresh milk, eggs, and cheese! We never get our milk from the mainstream grocery stores anymore. It just doesn't taste right now that we've tried Working Cows milk! It works on the honor system and you just pull up and pick whatever milk, cheese, or eggs that you want (their chocolate milk is out of this world!!) and then just venmo them! It's super easy self serve! It's so good, I'd like to shake their cows hooves!
I only had my debit card on me today and that isn't an accepted form of payment there. I think the methods were cash, check, and venmo. I heard they had cheeses there, like goat cheese. I didn't see any on their price list. Prices seemed on par with what I expected so that's good. There were two large white fluffy dogs by the entrance. They seemed friendly but they were in bad condition. Thick matted fir with clumps of dirt and debris. I noticed one had lots of burs in his fur around the back legs and tail. I really wanted to like this place and I may go back when I have cash on hand but I'm hoping those sweet dogs aren't an indication of how the rest of their animals are cared for. On a side note, they did seem well fed. I did not have the opportunity to interact with any individuals at this visit.
I absolutely love this farm. I stumbled upon their farm when I learned they are committed to honoring the land and use regenerative practices. We stopped in one morning (with a handful of curious homeschool kids) before the sun came up and watched them put the cows on the milking machine. That alone was worth our trip! The owner (who is the heart of the large scale operation and I’m sure had so many other things she needed to do) spent time graciously answering our questions and showed us her cheese room. Thank you so much. We will always buy from your farm when we pass through.
Owner wasn’t friendly. Not a smile on her face, had straight face, not warm at all. If you are going to have a business you need to have good customer service skills. Customers keep YOUR business open. Update to owner reply. It was your delivery when you were saying what you were saying to me. You seem some what upset about the fridge being open when I was looking for the raw milk. I apologized for misreading the sign about where to look for the milk. I didn’t even know you were in the office and you didn’t come out to assist until you seen me with the fridge open (which you hurry up and closed). I understand you are making cheese but you are running a business and being busy making cheese isn’t a reason to be unfriendly to customers. I drove a long way to get the milk and wasn’t expecting that experience. I dealt with you several years back but I didn’t experience that. I’ll move my one star to a three, maybe you were having a bad day. I hope you have a good rest of your day too.
