Edit: 7/9 Tried a NY Steak with their beef tallow and it turned out amazing. I also used 1 lb hamburger and no issues there. Just got a 1/2 cow and tried the fajita meat first. This meat was cooked quickly and left to rest and is SO CHEWY we can't eat it! I hope the rest isn't this same way. We were getting our beef from B Bar Ranch in Colorado before we moved here. It was much better. I'm going to come back with updates when I try a steak and ground beef. If the rest ends up this tough, we lost out on $1200. And yes, I know how to cook grass fed beef.

Here is an amazing local story I experienced TODAY! I ordered a case of 80/20 hamburger patties for our big party on the 4th of July. I ordered Sunday 6/28. When I got the confirmation email, it stated that it might take 3 days to ship. I emailed a reply to them and explained that I have 2 challenges- 1. The delay in shipping and 2nd, that I am at work during the day in Carefree, if they deliver before or after hours in the Arizona sun, they will never make it. At 1: 00 today (the next day) a delivery person showed up at my office with the order! In Carefree, AZ! I really thought I would have to cancel today and find an order somewhere else. Another positive is that they look GREAT and were very affordable compared to others I could find in stores or on-line. Happy 250th America! What a great country we live in and what a GREAT job AZ Grass Fed Beef did!. I am definitely going back for more!!

Megan in customer service is wonderful, she explained the shipping process and even gave me some advice on what to order, we had their beef for Easter dinner, that was the PERFECT main dish…it truly was like he is risen again! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We’ve had a lot of meat from Arizona Grass Raised Beef and it has all been fantastic. Filet medallions (yes, mignon vibes), burgers, flap steak, ground beef, taco meat… everything has been flavorful, fresh, and high quality. The burgers especially are top tier, and the steaks have always been well cut and delicious when cooked properly. Here’s the deal... Grass-raised, non-industrial beef is different. It’s leaner, has real muscle structure, and doesn’t behave like grocery store meat or a chain-restaurant filet that’s been engineered to be foolproof. That’s not a flaw, it’s just… real cow energy. People who overcook it or expect it to eat like restaurant steak are gonna have some feelings. If you want responsibly raised local beef that actually tastes like beef and you’re willing to respect it a little in the kitchen, this place is absolutely worth it. We keep coming back and have never been disappointed. Keep up the great work! 🐄

I was really excited to order from Arizona grass raised beef co because I had heard really great things. So I ordered the box which had 9 items. I got two ribeyes, ground beef, breakfast sausage, beef skirt steak, fajita meat, steak burgers, short ribs, and some tallow. All in all with shipping this costed around $170. Upon receiving the box, I opened it and laid everything out. I noticed the ribeyes I had bought, one looked good! The other resembled more of a newyork strip with no real ribeye cap or defined eye of ribeye. Definitely wouldn’t have picked it from the butcher but it was delicious so really I would’ve looked past it. So I just pushed that aside and thought it’s more about the quality of the beef, right? Then I started to thaw other meats for dinners I had planned. I decided let’s thaw the breakfast sausage, the ribeye steaks, and fajita meat. The breakfast sausage was great, made some really good breakfast scramble and breakfast tacos. Next we ate the steaks. Good steaks! Can’t complain really other than the selection of cut on the one. But when I looked at the fajita meat, there was a pinhole in the supposed to be vacuum sealed packaging which had caused the meat to brown from oxidation. So, I opened it, unfortunately I didn’t catch it in time and it had a funky smell and slimy texture. So I threw it out because I didn’t want to risk it. I was bummed. I continued on my journey of trying the meats. Just to come to the realization that two other packages (the ground beef and skirt steak) also had holes. Luckily, I believe I caught those in time and re-vacuum sealed them. But still, paying a premium price for beef and having packaging issues isn’t necessarily something I’d want to deal with again. I will say I LOVE the tallow.
