Thousand Hills Cattle Ranch at Barnesville, Georgia raises pasture raised, pasture finished beef with no hormones or antibiotics, sold dry aged from its own ranch store.
Thousand Hills Cattle Ranch is Ivan and Wanda Minks' beef cattle ranch at Barnesville, Georgia, raising cattle that are pasture raised and pasture finished on natural forages of native grasses and legumes, with a free choice supplement of grains, vitamins and minerals available so the cattle choose what they eat.
The ranch uses no antibiotics, no hormones and no vaccines, and began as certified organic before moving to its own natural production. Animals are processed at about 30 months at a local, family run, organic certified abattoir, then dry aged for two weeks.
The ranch store, built on the ranch in 2023, sells the beef in all cuts plus the ranch's own jerky, snack sticks and summer sausage, alongside sourced pork from Thompson Farms, Claxton chicken, pasture raised eggs from WAGS Ranch, tinned and frozen seafood, Georgia pantry staples and raw milk from Farm House Naturals in Barnesville. It opens Thursday and Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm, with shipping to Georgia and surrounding states.

Very sweet. Ladies, that work inside the store, awesome. Ladies, they have a large variety of everything. All kinds of meats.
Cool little place with a good selection of meats. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The quality of the meat is far superior to a grocery store.
I absolutely love Thousand Hills Cattle Ranch! The owners are wonderful, and they have the best-quality beef around. Their chicken and pork are also excellent, and their beef sticks are my absolute favorite. You can really taste the quality in everything they sell. I highly recommend checking them out!

I do not recommend this place as unfortunately the owner, Wanda, likes to judge others as she so feels fit. No business should be judging or preaching to customers about their sexual orientation, family styles, religious beliefs, ANYTHING. What a nasty individual to feel the need to bring someone else down on one of their happiest times. SHAME!
Hidden, good deals fresh meats.
Don’t shop at this farm unless you like homophobia, the owner Wanda likes to tell individuals how to live their life, and how they live in sin as the bible states thou shall not judge. She clearly holds herself higher than others and doesn’t care about offending others with hate. We’ll all pray for you Wanda you obviously need it more than we do.
One of the only places around i will get meat at. And the lady that works there is super sweet also.
A must see. Homemade sourdough bread. Bought beef jerky ends, very good. They have chicken and seafood too! Friendly.
High quality pasture raised beef. A healthier product at prices, competitive with feed lot beef from grocery stores. Their pork is high quality as well. They offer a large selection of all their products. Well worth the drive. Owner is dedicated to providing quality. I’m.
Wanda is great. They have the best beef and other products. Highly recommend it.
Great family owned cattle farm. The owners are AWESOME! Wide variety of meats, beef, pork and chicken.
