Staff was super kind and helpful. The selection was diverse and everything I have eaten thus far has been delicious!
Love this place and the people that work there! My buddy Tony is a hard worker and knows all the good stuff! Highly recommend popping in to find all sorts of fun and exotic food options. Plus the dogs and sandwiches are delicious!
This is one of the best two markets in town for good meat. Everything from the ham to the capicolo is amazing.
Sarah Rae and Nolan are the best! The sandwiches are delicious and the staff is so kind! Would 100% recommend.
They sent me SOON TO EXPIRE MEAT in their Cured Meat Collection. I bought this as a birthday present for my father, and I received my package on 4/1/26. One jerky is set to expire on 4/17/26, and another on 5/12/26. Very disappointed especially for the price, and spending an additional $40 on shipping. Besides that, I’ve had better tasting and flavored jerky from Jack Links. The salami is the only saving grace. Very good, fun to try out, and overall a new experience of flavors.
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Ok. I thought we hit gold when we found their capocollo. Because that is probably the best gabagool we’ve ever had. But then we found the Mexican Chorizo. And 🤤🔥🤤🔥🤤🔥🤤🔥🤤🔥 When I make tacos, I usually have to put onions, bell peppers, poblanos, jalapeños, and fresh garlic in the meat during cooking. And seasonings. But this chorizo? Absolutely not. Defiling this meat with mundane vegetables would be a disservice. Like, I want to go get more just to freeze it because the idea of not having any on backup makes me a little anxious. 🤣🤣 The people here are amazing. Kind, knowledgable, conversational and amusing. But they pale in comparison to the quality of the meat they serve. 100/100.
I keep passing The Smoking Goose when working downtown. I made it up there Saturday. First, let me tell you they make sandwiches to die for. Second, I saw a lot of charcuterie items going out that were made, and they looked delicious. I got a handful of things and let me tell you I am going to be back. All the items are unique and have the most amazing flavors. Here are my favorite three of the things that I got. Do not sleep on this place.
Great service and lots to buy! The meat is great quality! The salumi they have must just not be my fiancés and I’s taste but we’ll try more!!! We got the sampler pack thinking that it must be 3 of their most popular meats (maybe it is and ya’ll have fancy taste), but it’s got a good chew and interesting flavors. We couldn’t cut them on our own very thin which didn’t help. The service was great and it seems like good quality. They have a lot of options so we should’ve just bought thinner salami! We’ll try more for sure because buying local is important!
Interesting and varied assortment of meat, cheese, pickles, seasonings, sauces and so much more for anyone with a palette that appreciates the chasing of new and fun flavors. Today was my first time even hearing about Smoking Goose: but I read several rave reviews, saw a number of captivating pictures, and drove out pretty much immediately. The shop is so very clean and neat, organized and roomy, with plenty of choices to peruse, the staff - knowledgeable and friendly, an amazing first impression for sure! I spent so much more than I'd expected or wanted, but thanks to a great promotion they had going on today - this meant the drive, the time, the money, all of it was completely worth it and then some and I am beyond thrilled at the idea of going again, very soon!
