Covenant Pastures is a small family farm in Cylinder, Iowa, run by Caleb and Faith Schrock, a young couple raising nutrient dense food for their own family and their customers. Their headline offer is pastured A2A2 raw milk, sold whole or skimmed by the half gallon, alongside raw cream, fresh A2A2 mozzarella and a savoury grilling cheese made from the same herd's milk.
The hens and meat chickens are raised on pasture with soy and corn free, non GMO feed, so the farm store also carries soy free eggs by the dozen and whole or cut up pastured chicken on a preorder basis. A certified organic whole grain pancake mix rounds out the range. Customers create a free account on the farm's online store, place an order, and collect it at the farm store in Cylinder. The couple write a farm blog about their milking process, winter egg production and life on the land.
