They milk about 40 Jersey cows, all A2/A2 and 100% grass fed, on 210 acres of rotationally grazed pasture, moving the milking herd four times a day. Laying hens follow the cows through the fields in mobile coops, and the farm also raises meat chickens, dairy steers and Thanksgiving turkeys on pasture.
Their milk, cheese, meats and eggs are sold from the farm store and through their online store, alongside pastured pork raised at Golden Bear Farm in Kiel, Wisconsin, fed no corn, soy or GMOs. The farm also hosts pizza on the farm nights and other community events.

Both men began as apprentices under founders Mike Gingrich and Dan Patenaude, among the earliest American farmers to feed cows by rotational grazing, and bought the farm in 2014. The closed, selectively crossbred herd is milked seasonally, in time with the pastures, and grazed onto fresh grass each day through a series of small paddocks.
Two traditional artisan cheeses are made on the farm. Pleasant Ridge Reserve, an alpine style cheese aged up to two years, is made only with fresh, raw, grass fed milk during the summer grazing season. Rush Creek Reserve, a soft ripened cheese wrapped in a strip of spruce bark, is made in the fall when the cows' diet changes to hay. Cheese sells from the farm's online shop and through stockists nationwide.

They still milk today, and though the certification was given up when they stopped shipping, the farm says it still follows all the organic practices.
Around the dairy has grown a wider farm: eggs, pork, beef and other farm products for those who ask, a CSA market garden started in 2022 growing vegetables, herbs, berries, fruit and flowers with biodynamic practices, and a cottage bakery and farm store producing bread and cookies from organic heritage grains stone ground to order. We LOVE stocking up on Abiding Acres meats and poultry. Every few months we grab a cooler, take the 45 minute drive, and get enough to fill the freezer. High quality for a great price- and fantastic people, too!

Stayed in our RV for two nights. Great place friendly owners and doggie. Bought some steaks and eggs really yummy. Had fun watching the chickens and cows in the field. Will go back.
