The farm keeps four breeds, Alpines, Nubians, Saanens and Toggenburgs, every one registered with the American Dairy Goat Association, and the herd has been on DHIA milk test for more than fifty consecutive years. The association honoured the family with its Pioneer Award in 2018, and the owners are in the Minnesota Livestock Breeders Hall of Fame. The goat milk sold in stores across the upper Midwest is fresh pasteurised milk with no preservatives, antibiotics or growth hormones, while fresh raw goat milk is also sold direct from the farm by phone order. The farm makes national award winning goat milk soap from its own milk, sells goat cheese that placed at the Minnesota State Fair, breeds registered dairy goats shipped across the country, and runs guided farm tours by appointment.

The range runs from farmhouse cheddar, Gouda and Colby to tomato basil Gouda, Caerphilly, Monterey Jack, brick, and applewood or maplewood smoked wheels, sold as vacuum packed pieces or as uncut 10 to 12 pound wheels. Cheese is sold at the farm by appointment, shipped on request, and stocked at The Grain Bin in Alexandria, The Good Earth Food Coop in St Cloud and A Clean Plate in Menahga.

Minnesota law means customers bring their own containers and collect at the farm, and the family welcomes visits and will show you around if you call before arriving. Because Minnesota's raw milk laws are ambiguous, the farm runs a simple herdshare: members own a portion of the herd, pay a boarding fee per half gallon share, and collect their milk at the farm in glass bottles or plastic jugs. Pickup runs 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 3pm on Sunday, paid in cash at a box by the milk fridge. The family also sells grass fed beef, born and raised in their own pastures, by the whole, half or quarter. Customers reserve an animal, call their cutting order in to the local butcher by Hamburg, and fill a freezer with steaks, roasts and ground beef at one flat price per pound of hanging weight. Everything is arranged directly with Amy by text or phone, and the farm walks new members through their first pickup.

Fruitful Seasons Dairy is a local gem. Their pastured milk and cheese are both incredibly delicious and of exceptionally high quality. When you taste their products, you can genuinely feel the good care and strict attention to quality that goes into their farming. It is so refreshing to find dairy this good. Five stars!

Best raw milk in Minnesota! Pick up already is extremely clean and they offer a variety of other raw goods such as cream, yogurt and butter. Family owned and extremely kind people.
