Little Iowa Farm is a first generation micro dairy near Burlington, Iowa selling raw Jersey milk through a weekly on farm herdshare, with occasional eggs, cream and yogurt.
Little Iowa Farm is a first generation raw milk micro dairy on a 16 acre family property near Burlington, Iowa.
The Zachmeyer family, Yasmine and Jacob and their two children, moved onto their dream property and, in their own words, accidentally started a raw milk micro dairy. They milk registered Jersey cows that graze the farm's pastures, raised mostly on pasture and hay with a small scoop of sweet feed and alfalfa pellets during milking.
Milk is sold through a herdshare programme at 8 dollars a gallon, bottled in half gallon glass jars with the cream left on top, and picked up weekly at the farm, where members can meet the cows. Farm fresh eggs, cream and yogurt are occasionally available too. Yasmine shares the daily life of the farm, gardening, canning, recipes and raising kids, on the Little Iowa Farm blog and social channels.

Helpful for my U haul needs.

I have had my riding mower serviced there yearly for 5 years since it was new. This service i expect it done. year when I got it back I found a bracket loose on top of the deck. They just brushed it off like it wasn't i will not be going back. They lost a good customer of the service department and the store important. Since then I have had to put the belt back on every time I mow. They brushed that off like it was normal. Now the belt has come off completely. It is not broken, looks good, just won't stay on. They say they can't fix it for 3 weeks. Meanwhile my yard is overgrown. This should have been done as MAINTENANCE. WHEN I PAY FOR.

Such a helpful and friendly staff. Knowledgeable too! Many have experience from their own animals and livestock at home. ☺️
