Grace Heritage Farms

The herd of around 25 goats stems from four generations of women who share the middle name Grace, from Priscilla, who bought the first goats in 1977, to young Abigail today. Sarah Easdon, a nurse turned goat farmer, runs the farm with her husband Colton and their children, and even the guard dogs and barn cats have jobs.

The goats graze rotationally, moving to fresh forage every two to four days, which the family credits with keeping the herd healthy without routine medication and with building the health of the pastures. Raw goat milk is sold from April to October, with the most milk available from July to September; inventory goes online every Wednesday and sells out quickly, with collection at the farm shop. Raw goat cheese joins the milk, and the dairy goats, meat goats and poultry are all pasture raised.
