Sunny Pastures Dairy Farm

The cows are grass fed with a non GMO grain supplement, and the farm's promise is that members know the farm, the cows and the farmer: Adam is the dairyman you will usually find in the barn, keeping the daily rhythm of milking, bottling and routes moving around family life.

Members choose a share and a pickup spot, then collect fresh milk each week from route locations across Kentucky, from Louisville and Lexington to Georgetown, Danville, Florence and northern Kentucky, with free samples offered to newcomers. As the season and the cows allow, the farm adds yogurt, butter, cream, cheese, eggs, ground beef and bread to the weekly order. The farm also runs HerdPath, a consulting arm that helps other family dairies build their own herdshare systems.
