Such and Such Farm is a 120 acre homestead near De Soto, Missouri, run by Dave and Autumn, who began farming in 2011 with no previous experience and built the whole farm as a true DIY project: Dave designs and builds the systems, Autumn works with the plants and animals.
They describe it as the only custom, boutique farm in the St Louis area, growing unique heirloom produce and raising heritage animals for chefs, with pigs living outdoors on pasture and never given routine antibiotics.
The farm is part of the Known and Grown network of St Louis area farmers, farms with biodynamic and sustainable practices, and avoids synthetic chemicals. Produce, whole and half hogs, and raw goat's milk in season are sold at Tower Grove Farmers Market on Saturdays and through the farm's CSA, while the online store ships soaps, summer sausage and snack sticks nationwide every Friday. Farm tours are by appointment, and campers can stay at the farm's swimming hole through HipCamp.
