Yummy cheese!
Cheese was outstanding at Denville market - Amish something. Exceptional. Creamy. Delicious. Staff was pleasant. You have a great reputation. But you sold me stale bread. Big long oval thing - maybe focasia was name. It was pretty stale and dry inside. I Wouldnt say anything but I thought you would want to know, because you have been great at what you do for many years and I want to go back to your stand for the great, fresh bread. Mistakes happen — of course.
If you are carb and fat adverse...run! If you want some of the best bread, baked goods and cheese anywhere, run towards Bobolink...
Go later on Friday or Saturday. They bake all day so there'll be more variety.
So grateful to be a local 🙏 and have farms right down the road. I stopped by Bobolink on a dreary rainy day. Picked up some fresh onion/olive chiabatta and Frolic cheese. At first I was confused by the bread because I didn't see any olives. But, then I took a bite and there it was. The loaf was soft and chewy and yummy. I then savored a sliver of the cheese by just letting it melt on my tongue. Instant sunshine☀️
Rebuilding the food system, from the farm up

Hi Nina. Originally from New York I've been in Frenchtown for 30 years. I've met you and have been coming to the dairy since you moved to Hunterdon County. I have always been an Anthony Bourdain fan and recently saw the episode he did when he visited when you were in Vernon. He stopped by for a breakfast pizza topped with eggs. My mouth was watering listening to him eloquently describing what he was eating. I always bring my out of town friends and love the Jean-Louis, Baudolino and freshly baked breads. My favorite the duck fat and garlic. I worked for Skylands Tourism back in the day and you are definitely a destination location. So glad you're here.
By far the best sharp cheddar I've ever had. And i've been on a journey for the sharpest cheddar I can find for 25 years now. From the lovely drive to the farm, to the greeting we got from Lorraine the farm dog, Bobolink Dairy is a wonderful experience. 11 stars!
We were lucky enough to be invited by friends to attend the cheese making class at Bobolink dairy with Jonathan. What an awesome experience. From bringing in the cows in the morning, to witnessing the incredibly natural process they employ to make cheese from freshly milked cows was wonderful. Jonathan is an amazing wealth of knowledge and we really enjoyed hearing all of his stories. The cheese 'snack/tasting' including homemade salamis was delicious and we enjoyed meeting and talking with Nina as well. It's a little out of the way, but totally worth the visit. We loved their attitude towards the environment, animal care, life. Please check it out for yourself.
