Cherry Grove Farm is a working dairy farm and creamery on Lawrenceville Road in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, making farmstead cheeses from the milk of its own grass fed cows.
Alongside cheeses such as Havilah, Herdsman and Lawrenceville Jack, the farm raises grass fed beef, whey fed pork and pastured hens for eggs.
The farm store is open every day from 10am to 5pm, and there is an online shop, a CSA and a full calendar of classes and events, from mozzarella making and sourdough bread to bird walks and farm dinners. Private tours can be arranged too.

Cherry Grove Farm in Lawrenceville, NJ is a fantastic place to visit, especially if you enjoy learning about artisanal food. We recently attended a mozzarella and burrata cheese-making class, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our instructor, Helen Cull, was outstanding. She’s clearly a true professional and made the class both fun and informative. Helen explained each step of the process in an easy-to-understand way, kept everyone engaged, and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere while we learned the craft of making fresh cheese. After the class, we spent some time in the farm store, which was another highlight. It’s stocked with a great selection of farm-to-table products, including their cheeses and other local items. Everything felt fresh, authentic, and thoughtfully curated. Overall, it was a memorable experience and a great way to spend a few hours. Highly recommend a visit to Cherry Grove Farm—whether for one of their classes or just to explore the farm store and support a wonderful local farm.
